Padel tennis is an exciting and fast-growing racket sport that combines elements of tennis and squash. It is usually played in doubles on a rectangular court divided by a net in the centre and surrounded by walls. The court measures 10 metres in width and 20 metres in length, and the walls that form part of the game offer additional strategic opportunities.

The racket, also known as a padel racket, has a fixed hitting surface with holes and is smaller than a tennis racket. The ball is similar to a tennis ball, but is slightly less powerful to make the game slower and more controlled. The basic rules are similar to those of tennis: after hitting the ground, the ball may only touch the ground once before being hit back.
