Bramberg am Wildkogel is located in Oberpinzgau in the Salzburg Land region, at 819 metres above sea level. This village is part of the Hohe Tauern National Park with its breath-taking scenery of the Tauern Mountains and Kitzbühel Alps. This location in the heart of the Wildkogel Arena also means it is quick and easy to get to from nearby cities such as Salzburg, Munich and Innsbruck. Bramberg am Wildkogel

  • Approaching from the north (Germany, Netherlands)
    Munich – Kufstein – exit "Kufstein Süd" (no motorway toll sticker required) – St. Johann in Tirol – Kitzbühel – Pass Thurn – Mittersill – Krimml – Bramberg – exit "West"

    Approaching from Munich, it may be a good idea to leave the motorway at Kufstein and take the main road.
     
  • Approaching from Innsbruck
    Innsbruck – Zillertal – Gerlos – Gerlospassstraße – Krimml – Bramberg – exit "West"

    The road over the Gerlos mountain pass is normally subject to a toll charge. However, holders of the Nationalpark Sommercard mobil can use it free of charge in summer. Enquire for details.
     
  • Approaching from the west (Switzerland)
    Exit "Wörgl Ost" – St. Johann in Tirol – Kitzbühel – Mittersill – Krimml – Bramberg – exit "West"

    Drivers on the A12 (Inntalautobahn) motorway will need a motorway toll sticker. 
     
  • Approaching from the east (Vienna, Salzburg)
    Bischofshofen – Zell am See – Mittersill – Bramberg – exit "West"

    Drivers on the A1 (Westautobahn) motorway will need a motorway toll sticker. 
     
  • Approaching from the south (Italy, Slovenia)
    Exit "St. Michael" or "Bischofshofen" – Zell am See – Mittersill – Bramberg – exit "West"

    Drivers on the A10 (Tauernautobahn) will need a motorway toll sticker.
     
  • Approaching from Lienz
    Felbertauernstraße (toll road) – Mittersill – Bramberg – exit "West"

DAS Wildkogel offers underground parking for € 5,- per space and day.

Please bear in mind that in Austria you will need a motorway toll sticker ("Vignette") on all motorways and dual carriageways. These can be puchased for a period of 10 days, 2 months or 1 year. They are available at more than 6,000 locations in Austria and abroad, as well as on the internet.

International express trains stop at the railway station in Zell am See. From there, take the bus 670 (final station Krimml) to the stop "Steinach Bramberg". We offer a free shuttle service from the bus stop.

Tip! In summer the connection from Zell am See to Bramberg (38km) is included in your National Park Summercard.
